Requests to reprint, photocopy, or otherwise reproduce selections from an Adventure in Discovery book should be mailed to Permissions Editor, Adventure in Discovery, 18011 North Ocean Boulevard, Jupiter, Florida, or emailed to info@adventureindiscovery.com.
All reprint requests to include material published by Adventure in Discovery in another book should indicate the material you wish to use (book title, chapter/selection/poem title, and page numbers) and your contact information, as well as the following information about your forthcoming publication: title, author or editor, estimated first and lifetime printings, format (e.g. hardcover, paperback, ebook), retail price, term of license sought (1 year, 5 years, 7 years, etc.), and territories requested (United States, North America, World, etc.) Do not send us photocopies of the requested material unless it is necessary to illustrate the excerpts you plan to use.
If you wish to photocopy our material for course use, be sure to indicate the desired material; the institution, course, and semester for which material is requested; the requesting professor; and the number of copies you estimate you will need to make.
We try to respond to permissions requests within a week of receipt. Please do not contact us or resend your request unless more than a week has passed. If you have any questions about a permissions request, please email info@adventureindiscovery.com.
Please note the following:
- We do not grant permission for our material to be used in unscheduled editions of any book.
- We do not control rights to the original versions of any poems by John Thomson.
- All fees must be paid in U.S. funds.
